I’ve written before about my love of retail therapy, so I figured I’d give it another shot after everything that’s happened recently. Here’s what I bought while I was sad:
Even through my blinding grief, I knew these gingham placemats were a practical and important purchase. They were a part of my Thanksgiving tablescape, but I also love them for every day.
I saw this coat in store and I was absolutely floored by the quality. I got it in grey and I’m thinking of going back for the navy. (P.S. It’s a great affordable dupe for this dreamy coat I got earlier this Fall.)
I had this kettle for yeeeeears and loved it, but decided it was time for an upgrade. I got this electric kettle and, wow, how much time was I wasting before just sitting around waiting for water to boil!? A lot, I guess.
A big quilted hug you can wear. A great dupe for this splurgy version, but learn from my mistakes and size down.
I actually bought these when I wasn’t sad, but they arrived when I was, and reminded me of happier days. Every closet needs a party shoe and these are mine.
K, so, I’m noticing a pattern here, which is that when I’m sad I buy coats!? Added this to cart. No regrets.
It’s like the old saying goes “Diamonds Are A Sad Girl’s Best Friend”. And you really can’t beat the price on this bracelet…If you need a gift for someone, and if that someone is yourself, permission granted.
Nothing like some light wallowing to decide now is a great time to be the owner and operator of a facial steamer.
Once upon a time, I owned these classic sunglasses and like a fool, I lost them at a wedding. Redemption is now mine.
Someone asked me if I exfoliated every day and I was like “ummm…oops.”, so I bought these exfoliating peel pads, which are a slightly more budget friendly version of these.
Life is too short for ugly toothbrushes. Fixed the problem by getting this minty green number.
